Our Story
Trata on the River offers a 350-seat Mediterranean restaurant that focuses on using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Like its sister restaurant, Elia, 99 percent of the menu items are made from scratch, highlighting a dedication to authentic flavors. The restaurant features year-round outdoor seating with a heated pergola.
Chef José Luis Falcón, a talented chef with experience at renowned New York restaurants like Nobu, Café des Artistes, and Windows on the World, leads the kitchen at Trata on the River.
“We chose Piermont because it’s a beautiful community,” says Adinolfi. “It makes you feel like you’re away but not away.”
Trata on the River also includes a boat ramp, allowing boaters to dock and dine at the restaurant, blending the experience of a marina with exceptional dining.

Dress Code
We kindly request upscale casual attire to maintain our atmosphere. The following are not permitted:

Reservation Guidelines
- Grace Period: A 15-minute grace period is offered for all reservations. Please notify us if you anticipate arriving later to avoid losing your reservation.
- Table Duration: Each table is reserved for 1 hour and 45 minutes to ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests.
Cancellation Policy
- A $25 per person fee will apply for no-shows or cancellations made less than 4 hours before your reservation time.
- The full party must arrive at the scheduled time, as each reservation is held for the designated time slot.
